Being at peace with yourself is easier said than done.
Peace begins with a peaceful attitude in everyday life—toward oneself and others. Peace arises when we let go of our judgments and condemnations—of ourselves and of others around us.
Judgments and condemnations (of ourselves or others) are often so commonplace that they barely register. They are often hidden behind well-intentioned views. Upon honest reflection, we can sense that behind these well-intentioned views and intentions, divisive ideas and, frequently, judgments are often hidden.
Thus, criticism and condemnation (of ourselves or others) are usually perceived as an attack and accordingly lead to tension and even defensiveness – in ourselves or in others. This leads to aggression or fighting, which can manifest itself on the world stage as war.
It is a balancing act to have your own opinion and to represent your own point of view without judging or condemning.

end the workshop with a wonderful PEACE MEDITATION.
